Renting Space at the BPP:

The BPP is located in the beautiful downtown Bloomington Entertainment & Arts District, within blocks of Indiana University, at 107 W. 9th Street (between College and Walnut). Many restaurants and stores are within walking distance.

We welcome rentals, but please be advised that dates are limited due to our busy production schedule. We suggest contacting us two to three months before your event.

The BPP is wheelchair accessible.

If you are interested in renting the BPP, please email bppwrite@newplays.org or call 334-1188. You are also welcome to look at our space anytime between 10 am and 5 pm Monday - Friday.

The exterior mural on the Bloomington Playwrights Facility and the public art displays in the windows facing on Ninth Street were funded by a grant from the BEAD (Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District) and the City of Bloomington.

Currently, the BPP offers two different rates for two types of groups/events:

Performance Arts Groups (minimum of three rehearsal days and two performances)

Parties, music performances and other one-off events
