The Bloomington Playwrights Project produces several Dark Alley events each season. Dark Alley shows begin at 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. and are intended to appeal to a late-night college-aged crowd. Total run time is usually less than one hour.

Dark Alley News:

We will begin accepting submissions for Sex/Death VII in April 2010. The deadline for submissions is June 1, 2010 @ 5pm.

Dark Alley Guidelines for Submission:

1) Short, edgy scripts have a greater chance of being produced. Previously produced plays are also welcome.

2) Length: 10 minutes to 50 minutes.

3) Set: minimal characters (fewer than 5)
